The small university is founded on Buddhist principles of peace and human rights, and all undergraduates work towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Students can concentrate in environmental studies, humanities, international studies, or social and behavior sciences. The curriculum has a strong international focus- students compare cultures of the East and West, study languages, and research world issues.
